The orchestra adopts a combined model of rehearsals and performances, emphasizing the integration of study and practice through the principle of “learning by performing.” From 2018 to 2025, in the seven years since its founding, the orchestra has rehearsed and performed a total of 90 Chinese and international symphonic works as of August 31, 2025.
乐团每年将制定不同的演出计划，包含音乐厅公开演出、国际交流、公益演出等。乐团成立7年以来，总计举行音乐会演出52场。
乐团曾与中央电视台合作举办多场活动。2019年春节前夕，录制央视《我和我的祖国》首都机场快闪，央视新闻联播和多个客户端在春节假期的黄金时间段滚动播出，全网播放量突破1亿4千万次，带动“我和我的祖国”热潮。
同时，乐团也曾在北京大学百周年纪念讲堂、中山公园音乐堂、国家大剧院台湖剧场、清华大学新清华学堂、国图音乐厅、北京金帆音乐厅、新加坡艺术学院-SOTA音乐厅、新加坡维多利亚音乐厅等多个大型舞台演出。
2024年起，乐团多次受邀赴英国、俄罗斯、阿联酋等国开展文化交流演出。2025年，爱乐青少年交响乐团又先后赴德国和新加坡进行访问演出，进一步拓展了国际视野。
乐团同时也与中国社会福利基金会、中国民族文化艺术基金会、荷风艺术基金会、北京音乐产业园等知名机构合作，历年来成功举办多场公益演出。
The orchestra develops a different performance plan each year, including public concerts in concert halls, international exchanges, and charity performances. Since its establishment seven years ago, the orchestra has held a total of 52 concerts.
The orchestra has also collaborated with China Central Television (CCTV) on several occasions. On the eve of the 2019 Spring Festival, it recorded the CCTV program “My Motherland and I” in a flash performance at Beijing Capital International Airport. The program was broadcast repeatedly during prime time on CCTV News and various platforms throughout the holiday, reaching over 140 million views online and sparking a nationwide wave of enthusiasm for “My Motherland and I”.
In addition, the orchestra has performed on many major stages, including Peking University Centennial Hall, Zhongshan Park Concert Hall, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) Taihu Stage, Tsinghua University New Tsinghua Auditorium, the National Library Music Hall, Beijing Golden Sail Concert Hall, the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) Concert Hall, and the Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore.
Since 2024, the orchestra has been invited multiple times to perform cultural exchange concerts in the United Kingdom, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates. In 2025, the Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra further expanded its international reach with tours to Germany and Singapore.
The orchestra has also collaborated with renowned organizations such as the China Social Welfare Foundation, the China National Culture & Arts Foundation, the Hefeng Arts Foundation, and the Beijing Music Industry Park, successfully hosting numerous charity concerts over the years.

It is a fundamental quality that allows a musician to participate efficiently in rehearsals and integrate seamlessly into the orchestra.
